How Mergely works

Mergely is a browser-based PDF toolkit. All file processing — merging, splitting, editing, compressing, converting, watermarking, and encrypting — happens entirely on your device using client-side JavaScript. Your files are never uploaded to any server.

Data we collect

Mergely does not collect, store, or transmit any of your documents or personal files. We do not require accounts, logins, or personal information to use our tools.

Cookies and advertising

We use Google AdSense to display advertisements. Google may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visit to Mergely and/or other sites on the Internet.

You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.

Third-party services

Google AdSense — We display ads through Google AdSense. Google may collect and use data as described in the Google Privacy Policy.

Analytics

We may use basic analytics to understand site traffic (page views, referral sources). No personally identifiable information is collected through analytics.

Children's privacy

Mergely is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
